18 Sep Focus on Canberra for Spring
Spring is in full swing. And that means people are getting out and enjoying all manner of outdoor events around the country.
If you’re looking to get involved in great obstacle race events, you should know that in a few weeks time the focus will be on Canberra. There are 2 awesome obstacle races taking place in Canberra within weeks of each other. First off its another Miss Muddy women only obstacle race! The second time around for Canberra, it’s being held at Thoroughbred Park in Lyneham, and promises to be a fun filled day out for all you women. Heaps of great teams are entered and its looking like being another sold out event for Miss Muddy.
Secondly, is the return of the Beast! Call of the Beast is being held out in the picturesque Naas Valley about 45 minutes south west of Canberra. Call of the Beast has something for everyone with a variety of distances, either solo or team events, and even a separate kids course to get your kids introduced to the mud and fun of obstacle racing.
So November is the month for both Miss Muddy – www.missmuddy.com.au, and Call of the Beast – www.callofthebeast.com.au. Obstacle racing at its most fun, on two great Spring courses.
Not to say things aren’t going on all over this wide brown land but it’s certainly all happening in Canberra in Spring! Oh, and at the risk of sounding like an advertorial why not spend a little more time in Canberra before or after your event enjoying all its attractions.
