We store one record in your browser: your analytics choice. Analytics is off until you accept it, and you can change your mind at any time.

What this notice covers

This notice explains the browser storage and analytics Pleezpay uses on pleezpay.com. Here, “cookies” means cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies. Send questions to [email protected].

Necessary storage

We keep one preference record, named pleezpay_cookie_preferences_v1, in your browser’s local storage. It records whether you accepted or rejected analytics, and when you last chose. We need it to respect and remember your privacy choice. Unlike a cookie, it does not expire on its own. You can clear it in your browser, or change your choice below.

Optional analytics

If you accept analytics, Google Tag Manager loads on our marketing pages and may load the Google Analytics tags set up in our tag manager container. These may process online identifiers, device and browser details, an approximate location worked out from your IP address, the pages that referred you, the pages you view, your interactions and timestamps. We use this to understand how people use the website.

Optional analytics is off by default. Nothing loads until you actively accept it.

Your choice

Accepting analytics is optional. If you reject it, you can still use the public website and the enquiry forms. You can reopen the choice at any time:

You can also delete this site’s data in your browser. If the preference record is gone on your next visit, we ask again.

Third-party retention and transfers

When analytics is on, Google processes the analytics information under its own service terms and may do so in the United States or other countries. The exact cookies, retention periods and data use can depend on the tags set up in Google Tag Manager and on Google’s service settings. We review our setup from time to time and will update this notice if its purpose or the categories of data change materially.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because optional analytics needs an explicit choice, it stays off when you haven’t made one. Our preference manager does not separately read the older Do Not Track header or Global Privacy Control signals. Where the law requires it, we treat supported, legally binding signals as that law requires.
