General terms

On this page

A plain summary of what our customer agreements cover. It binds no one on its own: it applies only when a signed agreement includes it, and the signed agreement always takes precedence.

What this page is

This page summarises the commercial subjects Pleezpay agreements usually cover. It is not an offer on its own, and reading it does not make you a customer. These general terms apply only when a signed order form or other written agreement expressly includes them. Where a signed master services agreement, order form, data processing addendum, service level or negotiated term conflicts with this page, the signed document wins.

Parties and what we provide

The contracting provider is Pleezpay. The signed agreement names the customer and the services it subscribes to. Those services may include payment orchestration software, hosted payment flows, integrations, reporting, support or advisory work. Live access still depends on technical readiness, risk review, provider availability and the onboarding that applies.

What the customer does

  • Give accurate business, ownership, technical and compliance information.
  • Use the services lawfully, and only for approved products, markets, domains and business models.
  • Protect credentials, limit access to authorised people and tell us quickly about any suspected compromise.
  • Build the API, redirects, webhooks and operating procedures as the documentation describes.
  • Keep the agreements and approvals that connected payment providers require.

What Pleezpay does

We provide the agreed software and support with reasonable care, maintain the platform controls described in the agreement and the documentation, and tell you about material changes to the service. Specific service levels, support hours, implementation responsibilities and remedies apply only when the signed agreement states them.

How payment providers fit in

Connected payment providers make their own decisions on underwriting, onboarding, pricing, reserves, processing, settlement and termination. Unless a signed agreement expressly says otherwise, Pleezpay is not the acquirer, a payment institution, a money transmitter, a bank or the custodian of customer funds. Provider terms apply on their own, separately from ours.

Fees and payment

The order form states the fees, currency, invoicing schedule, taxes, how usage is measured, payment dates and any minimum commitment. Interest or suspension for undisputed overdue amounts applies only as far as the signed agreement and the law allow.

Data, security and confidentiality

Each party protects the other’s confidential information and uses it only for the relationship. Customer data stays subject to the signed agreement and any data processing terms. We may use aggregated or de-identified operational information to secure and improve the service, where it cannot reasonably identify a customer or an individual.

Intellectual property and feedback

Pleezpay keeps its platform, documentation, technology and pre-existing material. The customer keeps its data, brands and pre-existing material. Each party gets only the limited rights it needs to perform the agreement. We may use feedback without restriction, unless the signed agreement says otherwise, and without naming the customer publicly.

Warranties, liability and indemnities

The signed agreement must state any warranties, disclaimers, liability caps, exclusions, indemnities, insurance obligations and claim procedures. This summary does not create or change a warranty, cap, indemnity or remedy.

Term, suspension and termination

The signed agreement sets the service term, renewal, termination rights, grounds for suspension, the window for exporting data and what happens after termination. Urgent suspension may be available for security reasons, illegality, a provider requirement or a material risk to the service, following the agreed process.
